REVISED INTERIM GUIDELINES ON LIFE-SAVING APPLIANCES AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR SHIPS OPERATING IN POLAR WATERS

The Polar Code considers hazards that may lead to elevated levels of risks due to an increased probability of occurrence and/or more severe consequences. The sources of hazards listed in section 3 of the introduction of the Code should be considered for both normal operation and emergency situations.
