This notice serves to highlight shipowners of recent trends identified following Port State Control Inspections performed across all Manx flagged vessels for May 2023.

The top risk areas identified during this month were:

 Fire Safety
 Safety of Navigation
 Life Saving Appliances

The Ship Registry advises owners to place particular emphasis on these risk areas during their own inspections to minimise issues during Port State Control. Any concerns/issues following Port State Control should be highlighted to the Ship Registry as soon as possible.
