AMSA to launch inspection campaign on safety of navigation
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) has announced a Focused Inspection Campaign (FIC) on safety of navigation, running from 1 August 2021 to 30 September 2021
AMSA encourages shipowners and masters to familiarise themselves with the requirements of SOLAS Chapter V, Australian Marine Order 27 and the safety management systems implemented on board.
AMSA surveyors will be using the below checklist, which can also be found here.
